Bunee Tomlinson (Director)The awards keep coming in for Bunee, starting with a "Best Director" Award at Bare Bones International Film Festival. His short film, "Friends," won Best U.S. Narrative at the Lovett School High School Film Festival in Atlanta. "Play for Me," a short film made in Seattle with Bunee doing double duty as Director of Photography and Editor, earned him an "Outstanding Cinematography" award at Sierra Canyon Film Festival in Los Angeles. "Friends" returned to the winners circle at Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita.
After an extensive fundraising campaign, the collaborative short film, "No One Knows," was completed in August. The film is now being submitted to numerous film festivals. This was his biggest directorial project to date. The filmmakers hope to raise child abuse social awareness with this film. He is also involved in other social causes with film work in the local community. When not working on his own films and student schedule at The Oklahoma Film Institute at Oklahoma City Community College, Bunee managed to work as a production assistant on FOX's "American Idol" Season 12, and on the Food Network's show "Health Inspectors," where he also contributed some camera work on a recently aired episode. He also did PA duty on the national AT&T commercial recently shown, as well as the feature film, THE JOGGER, starring Derek Philips from NBC's "Friday Night Lights" and directed by Casey Twenter and Jeff Robinson. Daniel Hoyos (Producer)Daniel Hoyos is a indie film producer and a former film festival organizer, his last film "Play for Me" won Best Cinematography at the 2012 (Sierra Canyon Film Festival) in Hollywood. In 2010 Daniel got his first job working for the nationally syndicated TV show "Biz Kids" on PBS, as a production assistant. The following year he got hired at the major film festival "National Film Festival for Talented Youth." Since then he has worked at two other Seattle area festivals "Children's Film Festival" and "Seattle True Independent Film Festival" where for 2 years he resided as the director of student programming.
This last year Daniel showcased 16 award winning student films from countries including the USA, UK and Australia. Daniel was instrumental in getting four national sponsors including ChildHelp, HelpSpreadThis, Rats and Bullies, and Justice 55 to sign on with his latest short film No One Knows. Daniel recently join the screening team for his fourth film festival the popular "Seattle Shorts" taking place this November in Seattle, Washington. Jamie Livingston-Dierks (Writer)A native of Northern California, Jamie was swept off her feet by a dashing farm boy and transplanted to Iowa 16 years ago. And after several years of running a restaurant with her husband, she started writing screenplays for stress relief. No One Knows is her first short script. Jamie is also the author of the bestselling Amazon Mystery, Let Us Prey, a Gotcha Detective Agency Mysteries series.
